Celebrating Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Culture in London
The London Middle Eastern Project (LME) is a community organisation dedicated to bringing together individuals living in London to our Middle Eastern events.
Our goal is to unify those of Middle Eastern descent and North African descent while also sharing our culture with the wider British public through cultural events and enrichment activities.
Our main aim is to establish a strong network of Middle Easterners in London by providing cultural events and numerous enrichment activities to celebrate the diversity of the Middle East, in addition to offering support and resources for members to connect and engage with the community.

The London Middle Eastern Project was founded with the belief that every individual of Middle Eastern and North African descent should stay in touch with their culture and heritage. Our vision is to create unique and innovative events unify Middle Easterners and North Africans living in London whilst also opening our culture to the wider British public.

Hailing from Iraq, Syria, Morocco, Lebanon, Egypt, and Kurdistan, our team offers a unique blend of skills, from meticulous event planning and community organising to insightful journalism and cultural programming. With our varied backgrounds and shared passion, we are dedicated to fostering unity and celebrating the rich heritage of Middle Eastern and North African communities in London.
